My Weekend: Curls Curls Curls!!

Ever wonder what an explosion of curls looks like?! Well just imagine a sunny day at the park, guys and gals with all types of curls, enjoying each others curl presence. So FUN!! I literally wanted to touch everyone's curls but um, that would have probably been a little weird, lol!

Curlfest 2015 took place in Prospect Park, Brooklyn this past Saturday. If you were a curly blogger, curly enthusiast, curl lover... you were there. To say that the Carol's Daughter tent was populated, would be an understatement. We were bombarded by the #BornandMade campaign love.

The gals wanted to know more about the recently launched campaign and how to create the "Born and Made" widget.

The sun was BEAMING but it was so nice to meet so many smiley faces. This photo was taken by the curlies over @curlygirlcollective who were working so diligently to make sure that those who were not able to attend the event were fully informed on social media. I wore my hair out (at first) with a floral head piece from H&M that I purchased earlier this year.

Overall, I had an awesome first time experience with Curlfest and I even got to take my hubby. He was so impressed with all the different possible curl patterns. Yes babe, there are lots of us out here. lol!
